Microsoft Word:
A word processor is an application that runs on a computer. A general collection of tools for entering, editing, and formatting text is provided by word processing software. All the features of a traditional typewriter are present in a word processor. It offers some helpful functions that a typewriter is unable to deliver.

Features of MS Word:
Quick Typing: Since there is no corresponding mechanical carriage movement, typing text in a word processor becomes quick.
Editing functions: It is simple to make any kind of correction—insert, delete, edit, etc.—as needed.
Permanent storage: Records may be kept for an endless amount of time. You can access the saved document whenever you want.
Formatting functions: You can make any type of text entry, including bold, italic, underlining, and using different fonts. Drawings can be inserted into documents using graphics, which increases their usefulness.
Object Linking and Embedding: OLE, is a program integration technique that allows applications to communicate with one another regarding objects. Entities saved as graphs, equations, audio and video clips, photographs, and so forth are called objects.
Alignment: You have the option to position your text left, right, or center. Even better, you can create a box set that is aligned from both sides.
Errors to be deleted: If you take out a word, line, or paragraph from a stroke, the remaining content will still show.
Line Spacing: Depending on your preferences, you can select the line spacing between one and nine.
Page break: To ensure that the following page is printed when printing, you can place a page break anywhere in the text.
Search and Replace: You have the option to look for a term in the whole manuscript and swap it out for another one.
With a thesaurus: a term can be substituted for one of its synonyms. By doing this, you can improve the language and prevent the use of the same word repeatedly in a document.
Indentation: The space that exists between the page margins and the text limits is referred to as indentation. Positive, negative, and hanging indents are the three different kinds.
Header and footer: Usually written at the top or bottom of each page of a document, a header or footer can contain text or a graphic, such as a page number, a date, or a corporate logo.
Page orientation: describes how the text is printed, either across or lengthwise. The printed side across is referred to as LANDSCAPE, while the printed side above is termed PORTRAIT.
Spell checker: This tool may not only identify spelling errors but also provide potential replacements for misspelled words.
Mail Merge: You can print a lot of letters or documents with roughly similar text by using the mail merge tool. The visitors must get the identical invitation letter below, with only their name and address included.
